Senna leaves: Senna is a shrub native to Africa and India, though it can be found in other areas as well. It has been used in traditional system to relieve constipation because of pregnancy, side effects of supplement, surgery and may even clean bowels before undergoing a colonoscopy. It stimulates the intestines thus causing them to clean themselves.

*Senna should not be taken for longer than 10 days and could have side effects such as diarrhea, bloating, cramps or upset stomach. It could also cause problems for those who have kidney problems, stomach ulcers, hemorrhoids, heart disease, Crohn’s disease, or abdominal pain.
